In Asia, Arjun Lives Differently, and It’s the Biggest Impact

In South Asia, we find Haggai leader Arjun* sharing love in a place where hope is rare. Many people are uneducated and have never heard about Jesus. Doing most of his ministry from a rented house, he says, “I am a pioneer missionary, and my goal is to establish not 100, but 1000 churches.”

Arjun contributes this ambitious goal to inspiration from the Haggai Leader Experience, but also recognizes how the restoration in his own life has been a witness to the community around him. He says, “People are watching my life and my family and my work. Those in need have come for prayer, and God has healed them. Through my faithfulness, many new people have come to Christ.”

Setting up big white tents for gathering, Arjun provides sound biblical teaching for all who come. Men, women, and children sit in plastic chairs or cross-legged on mats to listen to the Word of God, words they’ve never heard before. As Arjun follows up with new believers, he has found that his Haggai training has been instrumental in him being more efficient and effective in his ministry.

Arjun’s goals do not end here. He is praying for support to build a mission center in the region so that he can train more leaders to do God’s work. He wants to see sick people healed and more people coming to know the “real God” through his personal story and the transformative power of the Gospel.

Will you stand with him in prayer for an extension of Jesus’ hope in this region?
