Faithful in the Storm: Frank Osei Tutu’s Journey of Trust and Leadership in Ghana

There was a time in Frank’s life that was particularly challenging. He felt overwhelmed and uncertain about the future — a feeling not uncommon to many of us. In his desperation, Frank cried out to God and prayed the words of David in Psalm 143:1: “Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!”

Each night, as he lamented and meditated on this verse, Frank was inspired by David’s trust in God’s faithfulness. He says, “I realized that just as God had been faithful to David, he would also be faithful to me.” Gradually, Frank began to see signs of God’s mercy and guidance and felt a renewed sense of peace and strength.

Frank Osei Tutu is a pastor and Haggai leader in Ghana. While he may live on the other side of the world and face challenges different from those in the United States, his story reminds us that Haggai leaders are people like us. We all need to be reminded of God’s faithfulness to hear our cries and come to our aid in our darkest moments.

Through Frank’s steady influence, he is able to share God’s mercy and faithfulness with the youth in Ghana by bringing the love of Jesus to them. He says of his Haggai Leader Experience: “(It) deepened my understanding of leadership and enhanced my ability to guide others with clarity and purpose, fostering a more vibrant and united church community.”

God is faithful to bring restoration in Ghana through people like Frank.
