Scott Halquist is a Director of Advancement with Haggai International. He has more than 20 years of experience working with partners to pursue their passion of stewarding their resources to support nonprofit organizations and to enjoy the blessings God has provided through the sharing of their financial resources.
Prior to joining the Haggai team, he was the Executive Director of the Holland Home Foundation for nearly a decade. Under his leadership, the Foundation received the Excellence in Fundraising Award in 2016 from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Before that, Scott served in advancement at the Pine Rest Foundation and the Metro Health Hospital Foundation.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in applied psychology from Grand Valley State University and an associate degree in nursing from Grand Rapids Community College. Prior to his career to the fundraising sphere, Scott specialized in psychiatric nursing.
Scott and his wife, Kristi, live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and serve at Cornerstone Church. They have twin sons who are both married and live in Michigan, as well.
