A look back on the life of Dr. John Edmund Haggai

Early Years
John Haggai was born on 27 February 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky. Here he is on his great-grandfather’s lap, with his mother, Mildred Daisy Steere Haggai, and grandfather, Edmund T. Steere.

Called To China
As a 10-year-old boy in Garards Fort, Pennsylvania, John Haggai felt God calling him to serve as a missionary in China. He had accepted Christ as Savior and Lord at 4 ½ and was called to preach at age 6.

Family
