Spotlight on Equipping

I have the privilege of overseeing the Haggai Leader Experience (HLE), a transformational, once-in-a lifetime opportunity. Our team makes a significant effort to provide our participants with a divine encounter with the Lord. We thoughtfully design the program to give them a safe space to learn God’s purpose for them and equip them to bring that vision into reality.

Central to the entire HLE process is prayer and inviting the Holy Spirit to move freely and empower mightily. As each participant takes hold of their God-given vision and mission to be a light to their communities and nations, we guide and inspire them to set God-sized goals. We help them more effectively engage those around them with the gospel, whether in small groups, a meeting room, over a meal, in a casual conversation, or in a more intense one-on-one session.

They graciously allow us to speak into their lives as sounding boards, mentors, coaches, and companions. These are high-caliber leaders like Brother Juancho, who attended the HLE at the start of this year. A natural leader, he engaged everyone, be it as the coordinator for the worship team or in a breakout strategy group, which he led and represented. He was resolute yet respectful as he asked insightful questions, generating many deep and personal exchanges. He was deeply impacted when he heard powerfully from the Lord, particularly on the last day of the HLE. I do not doubt that everything he and leaders like him are doing today is because of their resolve to discern and accomplish God’s purpose for them.

Leaders like Juancho (right) are using the tools they learned from the Haggai Leader Experience to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities.

Please continue to pray for the men and women who experience life change and goal setting during their HLEs and for the many men and women they will reach because of it.
