“For I hear the whispering of many — terror on every side! — as they scheme together against me, as they plot to take my life. But I trust in you, O Lord. I say, ‘You are my God.’” Psalm 31:13-14
Dear Father, we pray for the safety of all Ukrainians, those remaining to defend and support their country, and those trying to evacuate. We pray for those who are lacking food, water, heat, electricity, and supplies. Please provide for their families. We praise you for the restaurants and stores that are making hot meals for those in need. Bless their hands and fill their storehouses. We praise you for maintaining the infrastructure in many areas, amidst war.
We pray for the neighboring countries of Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Belarus, Hungary, and Moldova, that they would receive the Ukrainian refugees with open arms and serve their needs. And for the Haggai leaders in these countries who have already mobilized to help these displaced families.
We also pray for the Russians who are watching the conflict unfold. May they be bold in their attempts to speak out and stand up for righteousness; provide pathways for them to send relief and support to Ukrainians.
