Maia Mykhaliuk

Executive Director of Equipping

Maia Mykhaliuk serves as Executive Director of Equipping at Haggai International, where she leads and develops a global team of Directors of Equipping who steward the Haggai Leader Experience (HLE). She helps shape learning environments where strategically positioned leaders grow in clarity of calling and effectiveness in ministry. Her work focuses on strengthening the quality and consistency of HLE and ensuring that learning has real-world impact. Maia is passionate about seeing leaders experience transformation that is not only understood but lived out, impacting their communities and nations.

Before joining Haggai International, Maia served as Executive Director of Business Consulting Institute International and brings 29 years of international training experience in leadership development, training of trainers, and business communication. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and Organizational Development and an MBA.

Her diverse experience includes launching and leading ministries and businesses, mobilizing volunteers, fundraising, and delivering training for non-profit organizations and businesses across eleven countries.

In 1997, together with her husband, she co-founded International Partnerships, a church planting ministry in Ukraine. She has also been involved in the ministries of Scripture Union, InterVarsity (IFES), and CoMission.

Maia is a professional photographer and established a photo school in Kyiv as a bridge to engage with non-believers and share the Gospel. From 2013 to 2018, she also worked as a freelance journalist for CNN International.
