
Terry Johnson
Terry Johnson graduated from Auburn University in 1983 and joined his father, Buddy Johnson, at the newly acquired Johnson Industries. At the time, the company had five employees and annual revenues of $1 million. Over the years, Terry’s leadership was instrumental in transforming the business. Named President in 1996 and later CEO in 2001, he guided the company through significant domestic and international growth, achieving annual revenues of $300 million by the time of his departure in 2004.
Under Terry’s leadership, Johnson Industries earned national recognition, including being highlighted by Fortune Magazine as one of the leading U.S. companies for associate retention and motivation. Terry successfully acquired or sold over a dozen companies and launched numerous new ventures during his tenure.
Now, as CEO of Jeremiah Partners, an investment and advisory firm with diverse real estate holdings, Terry continues to pursue his passion for growing businesses and cultivating organizational cultures that inspire and empower individuals. His calling is to demonstrate that the intersection of faith and business, purpose and profit, is not only achievable but also a transformative force for good in the world.
Terry is married to Denise and they reside in Dallas, Texas. In addition to his professional endeavors, Terry enjoys reading, fishing, listening to music, and spending time in the Caribbean.
Terry has served on the Haggai Board of Trustees since 2015.
